How Shop Hop
Works
Pick up your passport
at any participating shop anytime after
June 1st.
You will get your
passport stamped at each shop that you visit during the Hop.
To be eligible for prizes you will turn in a passport
stamped from at least 16 shops by Sunday at 5:00 pm.
Participating shops will be open 9AM to 9PM Wednesday thru
Saturday and 10AM to 5PM Sunday.
Make sure that your
name, address phone number and email are printed carefully
on the passport. Make sure that you check the box that
you are 21 or older so that we can call you if you are a
winner. Please print clearly.
(Every year we have had
at least one winner who did not include all the information,
or we were unable to read it!)
Block Kits
As you travel on the
shop hop you will have your passport stamped at each shop
and you will receive a kit for a quilt block that will
include the block pattern created by that individual shop as
well as three fabrics. Children under ten will have a
special passport and will receive a four inch square of
novelty fabric.

Our Shop Hop fabrics
have been especially designed for the Western Washington
Quilt Shop Hop by
In The Beginning Fabrics and Clothworks.
These manufacturers
donate one bolt of fabric to each shop. Individual
shops must provide one piece of the shop hop theme fabric
from In The Beginning, one piece of a coordinate from
Clothworks, and one fabric of their choosing. You will
need to provide other fabric if necessary to finish your
blocks. Some shops may have finishing kits available
for you to purchase.

This year there are two
fabulous grand prizes!
Bernina 440QE
This Quilters Edition comes with the 1/4"
foot, the walking foot, and the Bernina Stitch Regulator.
This wonderful machine is being donated by the Shop Hop
shops and the Calico Cat and Bernina Too! in Auburn.
Quilters Retreat
The winner and seven
friends will receive two nights lodging and three days use
of the Quilters Retreat Center available on a
mutually agreeable basis. Enjoy the picturesque
seaside village of Langley, Washington with all it's
amenities. Enjoy the quaint shops, restaurants,
bakeries, grocery store, theater and beaches for a great
escape. The Retreat Center is located above a fabulous
quilt shop where you will enjoy a discount during your stay
and the pleasure of shopping in your pj's and slippers.
Gigantic Gift Boxes
Three people will each win
a huge box of fabric, books, patterns and notions, each
worth $500. These prizes are donated by major
manufacturers and designers.

Certificates
Over 100 shoppers will
win $20.00 gift certificates from participating shops.
These are redeemable only at the shop from which it is
issued.
Shop
Hop Pins, Posters and Fabric
Each year we have a pin
designed for Shop Hop. Patti Vincent
from Harbor Quilts designs the pin for us.
We also have a
wonderful poster showcasing all of the quilt blocks in a
fabulous quilt created by
In The Beginning Fabrics.
Shop Hop fabric is
available at your favorite quilt shop. You may
pre-order your fabric and it can be picked up during shop
hop.
Passport Information
Be sure your name,
address, phone number and email (if you have one) is on your
passport and is clearly printed. If we cannot contact
you, you won't be able to win!
Winners will be drawn
on July 2nd. We will call all grand prize winners.
Gift Certificate winners will receive their prize in the
mail. All winners will be posted on the website by
July 12.
Bus Trip
Information
Individual shops will
be arranging bus trips as they see fit this year.
