Zipper Critters

Pattern for dogs, cats and a pig created with zipper mouths that also can double as a hidden pocket. Use mis-matched fabrics and notions to add character to your critter design. Makes a wonderful keepsake of yours or a friend’s beloved copanion. Larger critters are approximately 5” x 8” and the smaller critters are 3-1/2” square. The small critters can be attached to a lanyard clip for adorning a backpack.

Clownin' Around
Two happy entertainers! The 24" yo-yo clown's body is made from yo-yos and his head is the toe of a tube sock. His hands and feet are felt with handmade pom-pom acents. A 20" stuffed clown (excluding hat) is constructed from a pair of tube socks and dressed in a clown suit created from four contrasting prints. Facial features are constructed of felt except for a stuffed yo-yo nose. Hats have a bendable point and pom-pom on top.
Included in this pattern are two different dress styles for dolls
(15" baby and 18" girl) to coordinate with the Sister Smocks
pattern. The baby style dress has a ruffled hem and
panties included. The girl dress shown has a pieced jumper
and shorts. A pattern to make a t-shirt is also included.

Puppy Love Yo-Yo Dog
Instructions and patterns for two dogs. A 9" yo-yo pup
whose body is created with two sizes of yo-yos strung
together with thick thread. Also included in this
pattern is a 7-1/2" tall stuffed pup.
Yo-yo maker templates used were size large (orange) and
extra-large (yellow).
The yo-yo cat is approximately 10" and is constructed from several
different size yo-yos strung together with floss. The
stuffed cat sits approximately 8" tall. The mouse
companion is 5" long by 3" tall with yo-yo ears and a long yo-yo
tail. The round Clover Quick Yo-Yo Maker templates used
were: Extra Large, Large and Small.
Instructions and patterns for two lovable
bunnies. A 12" tall yo-yo bunny whose body is created
witht wo sizes of yo-yos strung together with thick thread and
attached to a stuffed head with floppy ears. Also included
in this patter is a 2-1/2" x 7" stuffed bunny. Yo-yo maker
templates used were size large (orange) and extra-large
(yellow).
A 10" tall yo-yo elephant whose body is created
with two sizes of yo-yos sturng together with thick thread and a
stuffed head. Also included in this pattern is a 4" x 10"
stuffed version with a saddle made from small yo-yos. He
makes a fun and functional pin cushion with a safety pin collar.
