classrooms and if classes are not scheduled, they are
free if you want to sew, or baste,
or quilt, or have some friends come and sew.

This beginning class will teach you
how to make squares, triangles, learn paper foundation technique,
appliqué, and how to put the top together. Kathy is an excellent,
patient teacher and you will learn all of the basics of cutting,
piecing, putting your sections together.
This is an excellent beginning class, because it teaches many
aspects of piecing and creating patterns.

In this class you will bring your finished
quilt top, your backing, and your batting.
Kathy will teach you how to baste your quilt
together, and how to start machine quilting it.
This is a must class for anyone who have made
some tops and need to know how to put the layers together
correctly. |

As you study and make
five different traditional blocks, you will learn about the basic
tools of quilt making and how to use them. You will learn to cut,
pin seams, press and how to unsew seams correctly. After making the
blocks you’ll learn how to sew borders correctly, making a 40 ½”
quilt. You’ll learn how to sandwich the quilt, pin or spray baste,
and plan the quilting. You will have homework. This is an
excellent beginning class which you’ll love! |

In this beginning class you will
learn to cut and piece squares and rectangles, making the perfect
size baby quilt. Plus, you will decide which pattern you want to
make from the CD. The
pattern has a CD with three baby size quilt patterns. You will make
one in class, and be able to piece the others with the education you
have received from this class. This is the perfect pattern for a
crib size or lap size for a friend. Pattern is 20% off with the
class.

Binding Workshop |

Learn to attach binding correctly and finish
your quilt so that the quilt is square and the binding even, and
mitered correctly with the ends correctly matched.
You will also learn when it
is appropriate to use bias binding, and how to select fabrics which
will frame your quilt perfectly.
Did you know….when binding is
done correctly, the quilt will look better, wear better, and in
competition, compete better!

Class Registration
& Policy |
- You may register over the telephone, in the store, by email, or in writing. We need your
check, or credit card (with expiration date) at the time of registration.
- Our teachers really work hard at not only preparing for classes, but also in keeping up
with what is new and planning new classes. In order to commit to them, we have the
following policies:
- If the class is under $20.00 we require your full payment at the time we write down your
name - if the class is over $20.00, we ask for one-half of the fee. You must cancel
five days in advance - this means a Monday for a Saturday class - to receive your refund
or credit.
- Please be on time for class, with your sewing machine which you know how to operate.
We do not allow children or other visitors in class.
- Thanks and have a good time!
