Embroidery Club

This club meets on the 2nd Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 or the Wednesday following from 10-12.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about using your embroidery machine, all of the capabilities of embroidery and have fun making a project.
If you want to receive emails about our monthly projects, email mary@thecalicocat.com and ask to be added to the embroidery email list. This is a separate list from the Calico Cat emails, so please sign up directly. In the last couple of months we have embroidered on paper and made cards, embroidered on organza for luminaries, and with balsa wood.

All embroidery machines are invited with their owners. (if you have a machine other than a Bernina or an older Bernina please bring your manual.)

Usually the 4th Sat of the month at 9:30

This class is hands-on software education on the fourth Saturday at 9:30 am each month in the shop. This computer-based training is $10.00 for each session.
You will need your computer with dongle and software loaded, and you’ll receive a packet with the printed information and a CD, so you can use it easily
on your own again after the class. This is a fabulous opportunity to learn, and use your software.

If you missed some sessions you can still purchase the CD’s. Just let Cindy know. There will be an upgrade to version 6 from 5, but not from 1,2,3, or 4. If you have older software, come to a software sampler and see what is going on and order your upgrade today. You’ll love it!

• You may register over the telephone, in the store, by email, or in writing.  We need your check, or credit card (with expiration date) at the time of registration.
• Our teachers really work hard at not only preparing for classes, but also in keeping up with what is new and planning new classes.  In order to commit to them, we have the following policies:
• If the class is under $20.00 we require your full payment at the time we write down your name - if the class is over $20.00, we ask for one-half of the fee. 
• Please be on time for class, with your sewing machine which you know how to operate.   We do not allow children or other visitors in class.

• You must cancel five days in advance - this means a Monday for a Saturday class - to receive your refund or credit.
