We offer a full schedule of classes, both for quilting and doll making.

We have samples of all the class projects hanging in the store.

Karen Shifton

Make a detailed 15 to 18 inch, soft sculpted, female figure that can be posed in a variety of different positions. You will select from a variety of templates for arms, legs and torsos to make one doll that will balance and pose freely. In class you will spend time needle sculpting and coloring the face; creating realistic hands and fingers; sewing a fixed position doll that will recline in a lifelike posture; extend into a graceful back flip; or perch upon a the edge of a pedestal radiating attitude and charm. You will also learn to make a simple costume using lace and trims by attaching them directly to the body. The pattern is only available at this class. There is a kit fee of $25.00, and lunch is provided both days.
